Time for a TOT:

I have been sick for the past few days so I haven’t had much a chance to toke or TOT, but here’s one I couldn’t pass up. This really pisses me off. For every successful person, theres 50 unsuccessful, unfamous bloodsuckers who want to be recognized for some bullshit. Today, a man named ‘Bangladesh’, who worked with Wayne on some songs, announced that he is suing Wayne for over $500 000 in royalties that Wayne apperantly ‘owes’ him.

Here is the story:

This time, the producer Bangladesh is suing Lil Wayne for Tha Carter III single – “A Milli“. Weezyhas previously been sued for a few C3 tracks including: “Got Money“, “Mrs. Officer“, “Lollipop“, “Playing With Fire“, and now “A Milli“. Check out what Bangladesh said about Wayne below when VIBE asked him if he will be collaborating with Tune again on Tha Carter IV:

Lil Wayne may be locked in Rikers Island away from the industry, but that’s not stopping some of his associates from handling business with him. Grammy award-winning producer, Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford has a bone to pick with Mr. Dwayne Carter. A $500,000 bone.

“I don’t fuck with Lil Wayne… and you can print that,” Bangladesh told VIBE, when asked if fans should anticipate a reunion come his 2011 release. “Cash Money don’t pay royalties. Tha Carter III, is his biggest album probably because of “A Milli”. But you have to sue these guys so that they pay up.”

The Atlanta beatmaker disclosed that he is suing for an estimated 500 Gs in owed royalty checks for his work on “A Milli“, one of Wayne’s most revered records of all time. A single that earned him Best Rap Solo Performance at the 2009 Grammy’s and gave Tha Carter III ammunition to sell a million records it’s first week of release in June 2008.

“It’s Wayne and Baby’s responsibility to pay me because all the money from album sales goes to Cash Money. I get checks from Sony for Beyonce, checks from different labels for different artists, it just comes to you. You don’t have to call them, sue them and all that junk. This is what you’re owed.”

He continues, “I don’t really give a fuck about Wayne. I can’t give a fuck about somebody that don’t give a fuck about my situation, I have kids. In the hood, people get killed for ten dollars. I couldn’t imagine owing someone hundreds of thousands of dollars and just walking around in front of them. I’m so confident in myself, that I don’t need Lil Wayne. There’s gonna be so many opportunities. I can create a Lil Wayne“.

A nominee for VIBE’s Best Producer of All-Time, Bangladesh went on to explain the corrupted process of Cash Money, centering on Baby.

“This is why Mannie Fresh don’t fuck with Cash Money because he never got any royalty money. That’s why Baby can go around flaunting this cash, because that’s everyone else’s money… It’s not even Wayne’s fault. Wayne is not getting money. He is given money, he’s not getting money. If Baby gets a million dollars he’ll buy Wayne a Phantom, but that’s in Cash Money’s name. That 14-bedroom mansion isn’t Wayne shit,” he says. “That’s why he have his own company, because he was trying to leave Cash Money and the only thing that would keep him there was if they gave him his own thing. But Baby still controls that. All those Young Money artists don’t even know that they not getting royalty money.”

Bangladesh, who secured his placement on The Carter III when his friend and Young Money artist, Shanell suggested the “A Milli” beat to Wayne, recalls the first time he met self-proclaimed Best Rapper Alive. “Wayne is a different guy. I first stepped to him years ago. Don’t know if he was on drugs, but he ignored me,” Bang says. “This was before ‘A Milli‘. I didn’t sweat it because I told myself that one day, I ain’t gotta say nothing, he’s gonna like the music.” The premonition came to life indeed. However, it’s been almost two years since “A Milli” made it’s game-changing impact andBang says the New Orleans MC has still never uttered a ‘Thank you’ his way.

“This industry is a devilish game. And these are devils controlling the game,” says Bangladesh who swears by self-rule. “I don’t wanna be caught up in it. I don’t wanna break bred with devils.”

I hope Birdman sorts out this mess, because these lawsuits are the last things Wayne needs while inside bars.

If you ask me, this fucker sounds like a whiney little bitch. This guy clearly thinks he the fuckin bee’s knees, meanwhile he didn’t do shit. Wayne got famous for the song, yeah partly cause the beat is catchy and what not, but its mostly the fuckin shit that he says on it.

This guy is an ignorant fool, who only cares about himself. He waits over 2 fuckin years before he wants to sue, then says how he can CREATE A LIL WAYNE? LOLLLL buddy, then go do it…

If you’re so concerned about money and whatnot, then create a Lil Wayne you fuckin douche, cause incase you are out of the loop — Wayne’s worth millions.

God, some people are a piece of fuckin work…

I find it hilarious that Wayne gets sued for like 40% of all the songs on the Carter 3… People hate to see other people succeed..

Last Song Heard: Mama Gave Me by Lil Wayne

Time for a TOT:

Lil Wayne is on the cover of Ozone Magazine’s “Sex Issue” which will be out on sale pretty soon. Wayne talks about The Carter Documentary, Shanell, baby mama’s, personal life, respecting women, and more. I always love reading the things he responds with because even when he doesn’t answer the question, he still teaches you something. This man is more than just a rapper, he’s a downright genius. You can check out all the interview questions and his responses below!

There was some controversy over the release of The Carter documentary. Did you feel like they emphasized the drug addiction aspect too much? Is that the reason you didn’t want it released?
The fact that we didn’t want it released was business; paperwork. I feel like, if I agreed to have that camera around me, then I can’t tell that person what to edit when they go to the editing room, unless I am in the editing room and editing with them. If I’m not then I shouldn’t complain, but I was supposed to have a say-so because I had to approve it. And that was the whole [problem]. I didn’t approve it and they still put it out.

So you weren’t happy with the creative aspect or the business or both?
It was some of both. There were females on there with me and sh*t, you know? Why give them some shine when I’ve got baby mothers? I believe as an editor or whatever, as a person associated with me, if you want to become a real business partner with me I believe you should consider things like that. I shouldn’t have to be the one to consider it.

On whether he considers himself a good father and child support:
I’m not on child support with none of my kids cause I’m a great father. So it’s not determined by how much money you’re paying at all. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about being there and being that important person in their lives. It’s about being #1 or #2 in their life. That’s very important for your child, to make sure you’re that #1 or #2. Because if you’re not, you know what #1 or #2 could end up being. That’s the most important thing of all. I just try to make sure I’m of the highest importance in their lives, next to their moms.

On respecting woman but still calling them hoes and bitches in his songs:
There’s two answers to that. One is – there are bitches. There are hoes. There are ladies. There are women. There are girls. Pick which side you’re on. When somebody’s saying something about “bitches,” if they didn’t say “Julia is a bitch,” if it doesn’t apply to you then it doesn’t apply to you. The second answer is, you’d have to be a woman who’s met me to know if I believe you’re a bitch or a hoe or whatever.

You worked with Shanell a lot on the Rebirth album. Was it more of a musical connection at first and then became more personal, or vice versa?
Since when did it become a personal thing?

I don’t know. I thought y’all were an item?
That’s a rumor, sweetheart. No, it’s never been a personal thing. As far as us being friends, yeah. That’s my friend. Shanell is a great artist and that’s it, period. She’s a Young Money great artist. I heard a rumor that she was pregnant from me. How could that be? We’ve never had sex. How could she be pregnant from me? You’ve got to have sex to be pregnant. That’s one of the things you have to do. I don’t understand how people’s brains work. You know? I’m a really big person. I’m a real superstar. I’m not afraid to tell you or nobody else, you know? I die every week [according to the rumors]. I’m in jail right now [according to the rumors].

So the intrusion into your personal life bothers you?
No, it bothers you, because you have to actually think if it’s true or not and come sit down and ask this dumb ass shit. I know you have to feel stupid, because it’s like me sitting here and looking at your [brown] hair and asking you, “Since you dyed your hair green, how do you feel?” Your hair obviously isn’t green.

Your tweets are mostly about love. Is that your mentality at the moment?
I asked Twist when I got on Twitter, “What am I supposed to do?” He said, “You’re supposed to say what you’re thinkin’.” That’s what I be thinkin’.

Is love what you think about all the time? Or just right now?
Right now. I think about the moment, but my thoughts usually last for days and lifetimes.

I know you’re generally not too concerned about the critics, but you did get a lot of flak for the four baby mamas.
I don’t think what people think should be any concern of anybody’s. It’s definitely not a concern of mine. I’d be crazy if it was and you’re crazy if you are.

I think people translate “he has four baby mamas” as “he disrespects women.”
But that goes back to me not caring about what people think or say. They wanna be [baby mama] number five, six, and seven, so…

Did you go through a phase where you were, um… wanting to spread your seed? Or was it just the way things happened?
You’d have to be a woman that’s with me to know what phase I was going through. If I was to answer that question for you or for the world or for this magazine, then I’d be the dumbest nigga on the planet.

How are you able to have several baby mothers and they all appear to get along pretty well?
That’s another answer that’s none of your concern. Shouldn’t be.

Fair enough. Too personal with the questions?
You did your job and I did mine.
