This day is mega fuckin awesome. It’s probably the best holidy out there right now even though it isn’t technically a holiday.. yet. They should totally make it a national holiday, where everyone stays home cause everything is closed and people just chill with their fam or friends and smoke nuff ganja.

Wouldn’t that be fucking perfect?

Anyways, I’m sure many of you people don’t know why 420 even came to be. Some people think that that April 20th is like Bob Marley’s birthday, which it isn’t (He was born on February 6th, 1945). Other people believe it is the police code for “marijuana smoking in progress” or something like that, which is also false as there is no police code 420.

So where the hell did it come from then? I’ll tell you where (via Wikipedia, you lazy people):

April 20 (4/20 in U.S. date notation) has evolved into a counterculture holiday, where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis.

The term originated from a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, United States in 1971. The teens would meet after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue.

According to an April 2009 article on the The Huffington Post, the group called itself the Waldos because its members hung out by a wall after school. Writer Ryan Grim, citing interviews with anonymous Waldos, claims that the group met by the statue at 4:20 p.m. to begin a search for a crop of abandoned cannabis growing near Point Reyes that they had heard about. They never found the stash, Grim writes, but smoked plenty of marijuana while looking for it.

Time for a Toke and a TOT:

I would like to start off by saying I am a little bit early for 4:20 tonight, but I figured this post will take me up until that time anyways so one before, one during, it’s all good. Anyways, the fact that I am up at such a time is probably baffling to a lot of people.

I have come to one final conclusion: I am nocturnal. People always judge me because I am a night person. I like to sleep in during the day and be awake until late at night. I don’t know why I am this way, but I have been like this since I was in like grade 7 or 8.

Some people ask me, “Well what the hell do you do all night?”

Truth be told, there is no real answer to that. It could be school work, it could be nothing, it could be important or it could be a complete waste of time. I don’t know how to answer you, I just do what anyone else does during the day, but at night time.

People say I should fix my ‘sleep schedule’ but I really don’t know about that. I find it very difficult to try to fall asleep any time before 2:00AM. This makes me an asset to any job that has nightshifts cause I am super willing for that, as I’m up anyway.

My parents used to get pissed cause I’d be up late every night, but now that I’m out of the house they just accept it when I visit.

By the way, I thought I’d explain why today’s rating for this post is such a high 9.6. The reason for this is because I am currently in my cozy, warm bed, in my cold room, listening to my music comfortably with all the things I need within arms reach.

Back to what I was saying, am I abnormal or are there other people that stay up late? Let me know, people.
