See This Film?: Yes.

The new 15 minute Jay – Z documentary called “NY-Z” has been released today. I will post the full documentary below!
I don’t consider this a review because it is simply a look into him preparing for his concert and some insight on his past, work ethic and maturity. It is also too short to be considered a film. I enjoyed watching this and i believe you could learn a thing or two about hip hop by watching this. Its safe to say  Jay – Z has reached legendary status and has proved himself in the music world many times over, and as to date is still producing new tracks. Enjoy.

See This Film?: Looks hilarious.

Speaking of forgetting sarah marshall, this film is a spin-off of that. It is about Jonah Hill is assigned by his company to bring back rock star Elvis Snow from london to get him to perform at the greek theatre. This film looks SO funny. The new red-band trailer got released today and i personally found it hilarious. This film is sure to be just as funny as forgetting sarah marshall as it is a spin off and it is directed by the same guy. Im really looking forward to it.

See This Film? YES! HILARIOUS!

I love this film! incredibly funny! this film is filled with classic hilarious characters that are funny in there own unique way. This film is about a guy named Peter who just got dumped by his celebrity girlfriend, and following the advice of his step brother he goes to hawaii to clear his mind and cope with it. Only the thing is, his ex sarah marshall ends up being there too! and with the guy she was cheating on him with, rock-star Elvis Snow, who is incredibly hilarious in this film. This film kept me laughing throughout the entire film.

The fact they added in little side characters like the stoner surfing teacher on the beach, the newlywed couple who are just experiencing sex, the big african american bartender who looks intimidating but just wants to go scuba-diving with someone to, as he puts it “watch the turtles fuck for 4 hours straight. its beautiful” and last but not least the teenage restaurant hostess who’s obsessed with Elvis Snow, played by Jonah Hill (superbad) This film brings a new batch of comedic actors that are sure to be seen again soon.

Along the way Peter falls for the hotel front desk hostess, played by the beautiful Mila Kunis (that 70′s show, the book of eli). This film stays true to its main story-line while delivering line after line of hilarious situations and back and forth conversations. This film is a very underrated comedy. Its sad to laugh at Peters torment, but you just cant seem to help yourself. This film is hilarious! if your looking to laugh or your just in a good mood, please watch this film, you wont regret it.

Below is a scene and the trailer.

In this clip we see Kodo the stoner surfer instructor teaching Peter the proper form of surfing a wave…..fucking hilarious, i love it.

The Trailer, you can tell how funny this film is.

Year One Review

Overall Movie Score: 7 out of 10

Last Song Heard: (No Ceilings – Lil Wayne Ft. Birdman)
Last Food Eaten: Pizza
See This Film? ….Hard to say…

What can i say? Jack Black and the always awkward Michael Cera, sounds like a match made in comedy heaven dosen’t it? Well think again…kind of. Dont get me wrong, this film has its moments but it could of delivered more. This film is called “year one” because it is literately set in year one. Two unlikely friends set on a quest to achieve greatness because Jack Blacks character believes he is the chosen one by god. Along they way various biblical characters make an appearance, such as Cain and Able, where in fact Cain ends up killing Able, but of course in a funny way which is soaked in satire while pocking fun at the biblical story itself.

With a movie concept like this with two solid comedy goons staring in it, this film sounds like the funniest thing to come around in quite some time, but in fact, its not. It is funny, but it is not laugh my ass off funny. In fact it took about half the film for it to start finding its feet and establishing a story and relationship between characters. I only found myself truly laughing out loud towards the last half of the film because what i expected it to be like from the start….started to happen, which is Jack and Michael having there hilarious arguments and unfortunate situations.

Overall this film was funny, hilarious at times. But once you got past a funny scene it took the film another 20 minutes to generate the next wave of the slightest of laughs. This film did not consist of knee-slappers after knee-slappers, which is unfortunate since i had high hopes for this comedy duo.

Just a T.O.F

Below i will post the trailer and a clip from the film.

The arrows falling out when he grabs for one made me laugh.

Clash Of The Titans – Opens Friday, April 2nd.

See This Film?: Yes, for sure.

Clash Of The Titans first came into play about 2 years ago, much hype was built up behind it as it involves a classic warrior played by Sam Worthington (Avatar, Terminator Salvation) and his quest to conquer the gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades). With a strong backdrop on greek mythology this film is sure to deliver and be a solid blockbuster. I am actually quite surprised this isent being released in the summer as it has the potential to rank in allot of cash. This is the first big blockbuster to come out since avatar and coincidentally Sam Worthington stars in both of these films. Be sure to keep on eye out for him, because his star is surely on the rise, and quick.

Three new clips from the film has been released that are posted below. I will also post the trailer to this film. You can quickly tell this film looks incredibly entertaining and has a big production behind it.

Awesome, always gotta have that training scene. For anyone who’s seen “James Bond: Casino Royal” the character training Sam is the main villain in that film, named “La Shefre” He was easily the best villain depicted in any of the James Bond films.

Very impressive scene. We all know the classic story behind medusa, interesting to see how shes depicted in a film.

The Kraken….Wow….The kraken was also featured in the second “Pirates of the Caribbean” film for anyone who remembers.
