Today is the first game of the NBA Finals: Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers.

I was really hoping to see Cleveland vs. LA, to be honest because Kobe vs. Lebron would have solved a lot of the debate going on right now as to who is the best player in the game. The game starts at 9 PM on June 3, 2010.

Although it isn’t Kobe vs. Lebron, it is still a rivalry match and Kobe has much on the line. Kobe is looking to win his fifth championship ring, potentially putting him among the top 5 best players ever to play in the NBA.

Of course, Kobe has to perform big tonight in order for that to be possible. This, however, will not be easy considering the line-up he has to play against.

I just received my “FREE WEEZY” shirt…. finally. It was taking so long I figured I’d get it after he was already freed lol but he still has 160 days left to go!

Eminem Scraps Relapse 2, Working on Recovery Album

Well, I’m pretty fuckin happy about the fact that I’m done school for the year, and my summer is gonna be extra long and awesome. I’m planning on making some serious swiss this next few months. But yo… more importantly..

Eminem said before that he was working hard on the Relapse 2, his seventh studio album. He had finished so many tracks and he decided to scrap that entire album and now is working on an album called Recovery. Here is what Eminem had to say about the Recovery album:

“I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year. But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves its own title.”

So there you have it!

Eminem’s Recovery will hit the shelves on June 22nd, I hope this time the album is more like the track Beautiful off Relapse… I wasn’t too big of a fan of the other songs on the album as they were about the weirdest and most fucked up things…

I admit though, the man has talent, regardless of what he’s rapping about, I just know he has potential to put out the most moving and awesome songs, I feel it’s a waste when he puts out shit about raping reverends and swallowing babies and all that weird shit.

Well, I don’t know how this came up but I ended up finding out that unborn babies actually have dreams! Fuckin insane! What would they dream about if they haven’t experience anything yet?! Perhaps they dream about shit from a past life, thus confirming  reincarnation?! I dunno if I believe in it, but then again I don’t have a solid grasp on what I believe in right now. This is just super trippy.

For the people who don’t believe that babies have dreams, here is a source:

“Yes, as far as we can tell,” said Dr. Charles P. Pollak, director of the Center for Sleep Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital in New York.

Most dreaming occurs during a type of sleep called REM sleep, for rapid eye movement, which Dr. Pollak explains is “an evolutionarily old type of sleep that occurs at all life stages, including infancy, and even before infancy, in fetal life.”

There is no question that newborn infants have REM sleep, he said, and the rapid eye movements can be observed as they sleep. The two eyes move together, mostly side to side, but sometimes up and down.

It is a well-based inference that babies are dreaming in REM sleep, he said.

As for the content of any dreams, Dr. Pollak said: “That is like asking whether your pet dog or cat is dreaming, because they can’t communicate, and you can’t ask. We presume that infants dream infantile things, but we don’t really know what it is that they dream.”

“There is some evidence in adults that the direction of eye movement corresponds in a crude way to the content of the dream,” Dr. Pollak continued.

“If they are dreaming about walking in a field,” he said, “the movement is most likely horizontal. If they dream of looking up at a building or climbing stairs, vertical eye movement is more likely to predominate. We can’t go further than that.”
